Most of us have times in which we need direction and guidance. The Bible provides the guidance we need in seeking direction from the Lord. As we seek the way, we must remember that Jesus said, "I am the way."
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
"Thus says the Lord: 'Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.'" (Jeremiah 6:16)
"And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, 'This is the way, walk in it,' when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left." (Isaiah 30:21)
We don't rely on ourselves. We trust the Lord completely, acknowledging Him in all our ways. We find His way among the ancient paths, for our God never changes, and His way is always perfect. When we stray off His way to the right or to the left, we hear the voice of the Holy Spirit calling us back to His way, the good way. Walk in His way, following His guidance in all things.
